The Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, affectionately known as “The Porkies.” You must experience this natural wilderness area to fully appreciate it. When I first visited, I knew I had found an extraordinary place. Driven by an indescribable fascination, I return year after year, eager to explore and learn more about the landscape.
The park’s beauty, mystery, and wild areas draw me in and captivate my curiosity. Seeking only the experience of being present in the landscape, the photographs flow naturally. It was here that I was so deeply moved by the landscape that resolved to dedicate my work to the Great Lakes.
