MICHIGAN CITY MORNINGS

Overall I think it was a fantastic early morning trip! I was a little hesitant to get out there on this particular morning because the conditions did not look all that promising for sunrise. However, being that it was one of the only days so far this year that had even presented an opportunity for sunrise, I was not going to miss it! Check out the video and let me know what your favorite image of the morning was in the comments!

First Light - Sunrise breaks through dune grass along the shoreline of Lake Michigan

Ethereal - The Michigan City Lighthouse in the soft morning light

As Above So Below - Sand crafted into waves resembling the lake bed below the water

Natural - Sand is sculpted by Mother Nature herself

The whole world is, to me, very much “alive” -all the little growing things, even the rocks. I can’t look at a swell bit of grass and earth, for instance, without feeling the essential life-the things going on-within them. The same goes for a mountain, or a bit of the ocean, or a magnificent piece of old wood.
